Joey Manu has reportedly emerged as a major recruitment target for the PNG Chiefs. Manu was spotted at Sydney Airport with PNG Chiefs CEO Michael Chammas before boarding a flight to Port Moresby, where the club is continuing its push to secure the former Roosters star for its inaugural 2028 season. Manu remains contracted with Racing 92 for one more year, but the timing would allow him to join the Chiefs ahead of their NRL entry.
