STV interviewed Anas Sarwar and John Swinney today for a segment on energy prices. They took the opportunity to ask John Swinney about an SNP candidate that has been suspended but didn’t ask Anas Sarwar about a Labour candidate that has been suspended! Why @STVNews ?

🚨 The odds of this happening randomly are around 1 in 374 trillion. There are around 67 million people in the UK. Just 4 are in command of our nuclear submarines. Labour MP Joani Reid, whose husband has been arrested on suspicion of spying for China, has been linked to 2 of them. The chance of that happening once is about 1 in 16.75 million. Twice? 1 in 374 trillion. What an incredible coincidence…

As far as we can tell both @BBCScotlandNews and @STVNews are employing complete news blackouts of the Joani Reid scandal. Both are running the 'resign' stunt against SNP candidate Tracy Carragher.

An exciting discovery from Scotland - this 1800-year-old slice of pizza was recently unearthed in the ruins of a broch. The dish was introduced to the region c. AD 83 by the Romans. Fragments of oil jars found nearby suggest that the Picts deep fried rather than baked their pizza.

The sheer audacity of the Palace deploying the "ongoing investigation" trope as a convenient gagging order to snub Epstein’s survivors, while the King prepares to clink glasses with a man mentioned thirty-eight thousand times in those very files. It is not legal caution; it is a moral cowardice. Watching the Monarchy hide behind the ghost of Prince Andrew to avoid uncomfortable truths, even as they frantically attempt to launder their image through humanitarian photo-ops, is nauseating. You cannot play the Grandmother of the Nation" or the Global Diplomat when you’re selectively deaf to the victims of your own social circle. If the Crown is so fragile that a meeting with survivors threatens the integrity of a police probe, then the Crown is too compromised to represent Britain on the world stage. They aren't protecting the law; they’re protecting the seating plan. Proof, if any were needed, that Royal duty is merely a curated performance, and their solidarity is reserved exclusively for the powerful. #AbolishTheMonarchy #KingCharles #EpsteinVictims #RoyalHypocrisy #StateVisit

After the ruling in Israel yesterday to apply apartheid death penalty to one ethnic group there has been a flood of Labour MPs resigning their membership of Labour friends of Israel this morning! Nah, only joking, they’re cool with it and enjoy the funding and gifts.

I must qualify this statement in the interests of accuracy: Not even apartheid South Africa codified executions for only one ‘race group’. Israel is now the most racist state the world has known since Nazi Germany. As the son of a Holocaust survivor who lost dozens of her family, I say this cautiously & with extreme pain. But it is now fact!
