a separate funny star wars cannon thing is that i find it extremely weird that the prequels take all that time setting up the clone troopers, who look like storm troopers, but then the storm troopers in the original/sequel trilogies arent clones. theyre just normal guys.

@BUNNlCULA Don't disagree in principle, but having gone to a CC for the first 2 years, the vast majority of students were actively anti-intellectual burnouts and bums compared to the four-year, and the profs were *not* of comparable quality. Best solution is still free public uni for all.

community college challenges every classist notion of education and academia and having access to it has changed my life. it should be preserved, supported, and destigmatized with everything we have. hard to name a more precious educational resource for those over 18.
