John Thune left DC without going on a full recess to block President Trump from making recess appointments… While the Senate is on vacation. President Trump is the only President in history blocked from making recess appointments by “his own” party. Snakes.

It’s almost worse than the precedent set by Schumer when he 💩 all over the impeachment clause by not having an impeachment hearing for Alejandro Mayorkas. Precedent keeps being set and none of it is good, constitutional or in the best interest of Americans. @LeaderJohnThune has failed as a leader.

This is true. Few people are talking about how he has blocked all recess appointments by forcing some people to stay back to keep the Senate open, Preventing Trump from installing any appointments when they’re at rec recess. Shameful.

We just completed a productive education and workforce roundtable in Knox County with local leaders and educators. It was great to talk about how we can build Tennessee’s future workforce. Education professionals are also fired up about keeping men out of women’s sports!
