@RandyGoat 11 years old. Was too young for a job so I set up my own shop out front of the local butchery.

I was 13 when I got my first job doing new construction landscaping. I don't understand 30 year olds that have never had a job. How old were you when you got your first job?

How are people still tricked by this god stuff in 2026? I get it in 1026 when your entire world was a square mile in size. We see 13 billion light years in to the universe now and have science and technology. I don’t get it.

UFC middleweight Joe Pyfer reveals finding God and becoming a Christian changed his life “I’ve had a complete 360 change as far as my faith. I had an out of body experience where I was able to see myself in a different light. I want marriage and God at the center of my life”

@allenanalysis What other choice is there? If someone is in the country illegally, they gotta go. 20 years is a long time in a country knowing you’re illegal.

Joe Rogan just said the quiet part out loud: A man brought here as a baby. Lived in the U.S. for 20 years. Can’t speak Spanish. No criminal record. Deported anyway. That’s not “border security.” That’s ripping someone out of the only country they’ve ever known and dumping them in a place that isn’t home.

@ChrisMartin1961 I’m Gen X. My parents are over 80. I can’t keep up with their work ethic. It’s our job as the middle generation to teach the youth the working ethics of the boomers.

I’m seeing, yet again, this surge of hatred for the Boomer generation. I’m a late season Boomer, born in 1961; I’ve worked for nearly 50 years, have been in the same profession for 37 years, I’ve routinely worked 45-60 hours a week. I don’t get why we are so vilified.

I seriously hate this place SO bad. Humans are bullshit, all around. Just absolute assholes, abound. I try *so* hard to stay out of it because confrontation gives me anxiety (🤣🤷‍♀️), but I'm so tired of the...lack of fucking empathy. Compassion. Understanding. All of the above.

Got into Bangkok yesterday & still haven't eaten any Thai food lol. That's actually our MO when we're here- lots of cuisines are done much better here than in Los Angeles. One surprising exception: Thai food. Certain Thai dishes are better in LA lol. Dinner at Roast EmQuartier🍽️

Been in Bangkok two days and have been aggressively asked to leave an online review by restaurant wait staff twice now. One even -without asking- took a card and touched it to my phone to make the review page pop up on my browser. :/ (food and service otherwise excellent)

I take my hat off to those digital nomads who can tap away at the keyboard on a beach or work anywhere outside with a great view. I'm catching up with the Thai football and making notes for our Thursday podcast... and I find it so tough. After five minutes, I want to wander off to get an ice cream. For me, to do anything 'work-related' while you're in that kind of environment just goes against basic human instinct. I need to be focused - and sitting in an office or a bedroom in front of a desktop pc with no distractions. Does anyone else feel that way? Geez, those digital nomads must have some serious discipline.

The city vs suburb discourse is hilarious to me because you can’t convince me you’re happy living in a place that you have to use a car to go to a local coffee shop…

@MatrixMysteries Learn to live without spending. Stop spending. You live in a delusion. Sleep is simple. The house, the power, the car etc, it’s all just supporting your little sleep. The rest of the day is yours.

It’s evident people are ‘following’ Australian Government advice regarding the situation to do with Fuel in Australia There is less traffic on the roads, less people are filling up at servos that have fuel and notably, peak hour is no where near as busy. The issue? Once again, Australians are showing that if something begins or threatens to hurt their wallet, they’ll follow the ‘instructions’ that Government issue If fuel rationing begin in Australia, it’s reported presently there’s no ‘imminent’ plan to implement but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plans drafted up to implement one either. Just note - They’re going be rationing fuel only for the essentials and Government services Compliance will be something that they’ll hoping to see just like during ‘14 days to stop the spread’ Just prepare yourselves and your families as best you can

@lady_valor_07 Is that a real picture. Obviously this soldier is buying the peanut butter and bread for himself. It is simplistic as requires not butter or refrigeration. Old survival trick. Of course he’s got wife and kids as shown by the other products. Clearly a symbol of self sacrifice. Ai

Ok I’ll give you coffee and fewer tourists, sure. But “better food”? Nah 😂 not really. And your whole argument is literally “Thai food is too spicy so I can’t taste it” that’s on you for choosing the spicy stuff. Thai food has a ton of non spicy dishes, like a LOT. If you can’t handle spice and still go for it, that’s your own tongue setting you up, not the cuisine 🙄
