I did not allow the PBS anchor to spread lies. Israel is not "killing" journalists in Lebanon - we are killing terrorists.

Now that we’ve all had a few days to process the hype surrounding the proposed 650,000 bbl/d refinery in East Africa 🇰🇪 🇺🇬 🇹🇿, let’s take a long, hard look in the mirror. [1] Funding Gap: Where will Kenya 🇰🇪, Uganda 🇺🇬, and Tanzania 🇹🇿 raise the ~ $20 billion needed to build this facility when they already spend more on debt servicing than on healthcare or education? Just as critical - can they raise that capital, cheaply? [2] Diplomacy Deficit: Relations between these three countries are prickly on most days. Can nations that block agricultural imports, incinerate day-old chicks and limit the reach of each other’s airlines really cooperate on a project of this magnitude? [3] Successor Risk: With potential changes in government in Kenya 🇰🇪 (2027) and Uganda 🇺🇬 (2031), will the successors of William Ruto and Yoweri Museveni prioritize regional interests over national ones? “When @AlikoDangote built his refinery in Nigeria, he was essentially dealing with one country,” says @wangarikebuchi, Founder & MD at @ExpertiseGL . Given the clashing interests involved here, she warns that “discussions are going to be much more intense than what was faced in Nigeria.” What trade-offs are East African policymakers willing to accept? Do they have the policy discipline to execute this without wasting billions in taxpayer dollars, as they have in other, smaller infrastructure projects?

Erika Kirk seen crying: “She’s so performative! Look at those fake tears!” Erika Kirk seen not crying: “Wow looks like she’s moved on pretty fast! Why isn’t she more upset??” Erika Kirk seen laughing: “What’s so funny? Her husband just died!” Erika Kirk seen frowning: “Why’s she scowling like that? What’s she so angry about???” Erika Kirk seen existing in public: “She should be home with her kids! She’s abandoned them!” Erika Kirk not seen existing in public: “Where is she? What is she hiding??? Why is she being so suspiciously quiet????” Erika Kirk seen eating pancakes: “Look at this stupid bimbo eating pancakes! Too good for waffles huh?” Erika Kirk seen eating waffles: “Really INTERESTING that she chose waffles of all things! Kind of suspicious if you ask me!”

Yesterday I met in my office with an extraordinary group of young men and women. Christian soldiers and commanders from a wide range of IDF units. They serve in key roles across our military and they do outstanding, dedicated work. This reality stands in complete contrast to what is often portrayed outside. Israel not only protects the rights of Christians in the Middle East, it is also home to Christian soldiers who serve shoulder to shoulder with their fellow soldiers, defending the State of Israel and their Christian brothers and sisters across the region. I listened to their personal stories. Their commitment, their sacrifice, the path they chose. I was deeply impressed. Israel is the one country in the Middle East where the Christian community not only lives in safety, but thrives, grows and succeeds. I salute you.
Thank you for your service, your courage, and your tremendous contribution to the State of Israel.

All international papers had Sebastian Sawe’s record breaking feat in the front page while local papers had politics. We are a confused country which politicks from the day the President is elected to the last day in office. Congratulations Sawe. Even if they don’t celebrate you at home, others will praise you.

One of the most insane footages I’ve seen. IDF soldiers successfully shoot down a Hezbollah laden drone 5 meters from the helicopter as they are evacuating injured soldiers. We leave no man behind.

🚨 SCOTT JENNINGS GOES OFF ON CNN — and he NAILED IT: “We have a LEFT-WING violence problem in America!” “After 3 attempts on Trump, Charlie, Kavanaugh, Scalise and more — I wake up everyday with a KNOT in my stomach about what will happen next.” “Heck, there was even a plot against Russ Vought the other day, who's the head of the Office of Management and Budget!” “I mean, conservatives are, I think, rightfully on edge because this keeps happening over and over and over again, and people keep calling Donald Trump a Nazi, and they keep calling him a fascist, and they keep repeating lies about him that are not true, yet they keep getting repeated regarding Epstein and other things.” “I'm just telling you, as a conservative who lives in this every day, my friend was m*rdered last year, my president had three assassination attempts.“

Congressman Randy Fine
So-called Hakeem Jeffries is a disgrace to the United States Congress. He is deranged, disgusting and violent. It is unacceptable that House Democrats continue to remain silent in the aftermath of his call for “maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time” against Republicans. Their casual acceptance of hateful and divisive language enables this out-of-control behavior. Democrats must hold so-called Hakeem accountable. Americans will not let the violent and thuggish behavior of so-called Hakeem go unchecked. Accountability is coming to all of these sick extremists.
Hakeem Jeffries@RepJeffries

America will not be lectured about civility by far right extremists in Congress. Particularly those who provide aid and comfort to hundreds of violent rioters who brutally beat police officers on January 6. There will be ample time to vigorously debate the issues of the day. Now is a time to unify.

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

They arrested the President of the United States of America 4X, charged him 91X, indicted him 4X, spied on his campaign, sabotaged his first term, jailed his supporters, raided his private residence, censored him, gagged him, tried to bankrupt him, and attempted to remove him from state ballots. When all of that failed they tried to assassinate him not once but four times. And they go on national television to talk about how we need to vote for them to save democracy.

Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.
