You hear a lot of talk about gas prices from @TroyJackson207 and the Dems, but they’re quiet about Maine’s sky-high electricity prices. Gas prices are coming down, but our electricity prices remain among the highest in the nation…stemming from terrible energy policy in our state government. If you want to see lower electricity rates in Maine, you must vote in a republican state legislature and governor in November. The Dems have proven they’re not willing to fix it.

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, plays a critical role in preventing the spread of infectious diseases around the world and protecting public health in the U.S. by stopping outbreaks before they reach our borders. I appreciated the opportunity today to meet with Gavi CEO Dr. Sania Nishtar to discuss Gavi’s important role, particularly as the world is responding to the Ebola outbreak in the DRC. Last month, I led a bipartisan letter urging the State Department to release the $600 million appropriated in the past two years for Gavi, and, at a Senate Appropriations hearing, I urged Sec. Marco Rubio to move quickly to resume U.S. contributions to Gavi.

Ben from Politifact claims Graham Platner's oyster hobby is in fact a full time job and a business that's not phony. I rate this claim false. Exhibit A: Platner's own financial disclosures show that he reported between $5,000 to $10,000 in income for an entire year -- at least $5,000 of which came from his mom's restaurant. Maybe Politifact pays their fact-checkers $5k and calls it a full-time job. But here in Maine, when mommy pays you to play in your boat, that's a hobby.
Steve Robinson tweet media
Steve Robinson@SteveRob

Sure, Ben. I mean it's "totally fake" as in it's a hobby and comparing Graham's hobby to actual Maine fishermen and lobstermen is insulting. The hobby became a campaign expenditure (unreported to the FEC) with a website that was created as a campaign prop after Graham Platner was groomed for a Senate run. He has no employees. He has described his oyster production as "small," which according to the Maine DMR means fewer than 100k oysters, which is maximum gross commercial value of $80k. His only customer is his mom. She's not selling 100k oysters per year, because Graham just explained at length that she's so poor he doesn't know what she'll do for retirement. There are bag ladies searching the streets for returnables that have higher margins and better business models than Graham's oyster hobby. He now claims he offers "tours" so how the hell do you run a real tourism-based business without a website? Because that's what he claims he was doing from 2019 to 2024, when the website was registered. The phrase "oysterman" is not in common usage. The last time someone used it was the 1908 book "The Oysterman and Fisherman" but the oyster industry is now properly understood as large-scale aquaculture. It's impossible to have a real oyster business without massive scale. The "oysterman" term was appropriated by his campaign team and gullible libs from out-of-state lapped it up. If Graham is an "Oysterman" then I'm a chicken farmer.

Under Shenna Bellow's leadership as Secretary of State, a thumb drive with election results has been lost, leading to more delays because those paper ballots need to be re-tabulated. As Mainers eagerly await their primary results, Shenna Bellows has been proven ineffectual as always. Mainers can't trust her to be efficient when serving in Augusta.

Maine @SenatorCollins Saturday in Sweden ($1.15 million) touted $87 million she's secured to rebuild or renovate 45 fire stations in all 16 Maine counties. "That takes seniority. It takes knowledge. It takes experience. That is not something that a freshman Senator can do."

🚨🚨DEVELOPING: Multiple sources tell the Maine Wire that an RCV thumb drive for Biddeford is missing. We've heard reports that Bath is missing as well, and Bowdoinham ballots need to be re-scanned. The election was a week ago, and we still don't have results for several races due to the RCV tally process.

Stunning development in Maine’s ongoing election counting… The Secretary of State’s Office is claiming, one week after primary Election Day, that the Biddeford clerk sent them the wrong thumb drive. Because Maine has Ranked-Choice Voting, the results can’t be counted in a municipality by the clerk who has had the job for 30 years. Instead, a thumb drive has to be couriered to a centralized location where the Secretary of State’s office enters all of the data into an algorithm and then, like the Delphine oracle, comes out with the results so indeterminate time later. Biddeford is a massive Democrat city in CD1. But these results will not alter the U.S. Senate primary and they won’t really matter outside of local elections and the Dem Gov primary. Really the only election that this thumb-drive could change the outcome of is … THE ONE SECRETARY OF STATE SHENNA BELLOWS IS RUNNING IN 😂 She’s like House of Cards meets VEEP. I’m praying that the results out of Biddeford go Shenna’s way by two standard deviations from other cities. Maybe then Democrats will let us go back to free and fair elections counted by city clerks rather than eggheads in Augusta. We will never know the chain of custody on that thumb drive.

🚨What Else Does Graham Platner Have to Do?”🚨 Graham Platner — Maine Democratic Senate nominee — has: • Gotten a Nazi-linked Totenkopf/SS death’s head tattoo and joked about it for years. • Cheated on his wife with explicit texts right after marriage. • Faced multiple allegations of abusing women — intimidation, grabbing, holding against their will, rape fantasies. • Mocked a minor’s suicide attempt online: “Someone clearly isn’t trying hard enough.” He blames PTSD and alcohol. Denies abuse and claims he didn’t know the tattoo’s meaning. Question for top Democrats: What else does this man have to do before you admit he’s unqualified to be U.S. Senator? Maine deserves better. #MaineSenate #PlatnerScandal #UnfitForSenate #DemocratHypocrisy #Election2026

A photograph posted to the Socialist Rifle Association shows Graham Platner’s unmistakable ginger beard as he shields his pale skin from the scorching sun of the firing range. Last October, The Robinson Report broke the story that Graham Platner — the disabled Sullivan veteran with an oyster hobby who is now the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate — had personally instructed members of the Socialist Rifle Association in firearms training in Maine. Now, two additional accounts — both from self-described left-wingers — have surfaced that confirm Platner’s top role in the Maine chapter of firearms and political activism org. The reporting previously rested on Platner’s own words, as well as pictures from an official Socialist Rifle Association (SRA) social media account that appeared to show Platner serving as a range officer for the group’s training sessions. Graham Platner’s SRA trainees display an Industrial Workers of the World flag. The IWW was founded in Chicago in 1905 by a coalition of radical unionists, socialists, anarchists, and Marxists, including figures like Bill Haywood and Eugene Debs. Posting under the Reddit handle “P-Hustle,” he wrote in August 2020 that his chapter ran “lots of range days, firearms education classes,” that he’d “just put on a defensive handgun course two weekends ago,” and that the group ran monthly introductory courses plus “more advanced classes for experienced members.” In a separate post, he recruited a Mainer to the chapter directly: “We’re quite active.”
