@Sierkovitz have you ever considered training a generative AI on how to play magic using the 17l gameplay dataset and player quality profiles (and cards and rule sets also) Having it see what good players do in situations I bet you could make an AI that was very very good at mtg

I think wotc should wait until further after a set comes out to release alchemy drafts. Sure the last month you are going to get lower numbers but then people are often bored with the current set, but if Im still exploring MKM I'm not gonna play Alchemy instead.

Idea: a counterspell that costs the same amount of mana as was spent on the spell you are countering. What restrictions would this need to be printable? I'm an aggro player if this is ridiculous don't yell at me

First round he goes T1 One with Death and his opponent just laughed. It’s probably for that guy

@Carmparens You know what I thought this too, but I’ve essentially made 0 progress on Balatro even though I played the demo obsessively and bought it within an hour of the full release because later that day I discovered F-Zero 99 and that took over my life instead

Balatro looks like a lot of fun, but I basically won't get involved with rogue likes because I know they'll devour my life (I even tried Hades and sure enough, played 110 hours in 4 weeks), and won't play poker in public bc I'm afraid it'll devour my life. Both at once? Fuuuuuuuu

@toaohuntmaster Chicago style pizza is as much pizza as a burrito is a soft taco. Same ingredients, completely different thing. You don’t get deep dish for take out delivery, sit your ass down and eat it with a knife and fork
