Everyone keeps asking why this market feels so difficult to trade.

⚪ $SPY pushing higher.
🟢 $IWM recovering.
🔵 $QQQ losing momentum.
🔴 $SMH breaking down.
Five major indexes.
Five different stories.
That's not a healthy, synchronized market.
Until these charts start moving together again, expect fake breakouts, failed follow-through, and constant rotation.

The $SPX has been stuck in the same range for over a month.
Bulls haven't broken out.
Bears haven't broken down.
That's what a market in balance looks like.
The weekly swing is still UP, but price hasn't gone anywhere.
Patience is a position.
Let the range resolve first.
Then let price tell us who won the battle.
Until then, it's just noise inside the box.

Three different stories.
SPX has recovered from its bearish engulfing candle and continues to hold a weekly swing up.
NDX is trading below its bearish engulfing candle, and the weekly swing has turned down.
SMH tells the same story. Its bearish engulfing candle remains intact, and the weekly swing has turned down.
This is a concentrated market.
It's a sniper market, not a shotgun market.
Focus on finding a handful of high-quality setups instead of trying to trade everything.

$SPY continues to hold up.
QQQ and SMH are still moving together to the downside.
Technology usually leads a healthy bull market. Right now, that leadership is missing.
I'm watching to see if $QQQ and $SMH recover, or if SPY eventually starts to reflect the same weakness.
That's why I'm staying selective.
It's a sniper market, not a shotgun market.
