I’m heartbroken to say that Dillon unfortunately passed away this morning, March 11th. You were the most vibrant and positive soul in any room. You made sure I knew that I had a friend in you from middle school until the end. Thank you for showing me how to be better. Rest easy

#bringbackdev started kind of as a joke but i wholeheartedly mean it. everything that made this team identify with our city and the culture has been stripped bare. the crowds show it, the fan support shows it, the media interactions show it. this team dove deeper into the culture and identity of this city than ever in the 2021-22 campaign and has since tried to scrub it clean. barely any memphis music plays in the arena and marketing, hardly any memphis lingo used in marketing or on socials, and it feels like a major disconnect from the city. can the franchise please embrace this city again the way this city embraces this franchise? memphis is what makes the grizzlies.

Memphis is a cheap place to live with no state tax and the best water in the country. It’s also a place where a professional athlete can walk among the people and be themselves. Really kind of an ideal place to make millions of dollars playing a sport tbh.
