The planned direct sequel to Alien: Romulus has been reportedly shelved.
Reports indicate that director Fede Álvarez clashed with franchise creator and producer Ridley Scott.
Álvarez wanted to bring back Michael Fassbender’s android character, David, but Scott allegedly blocked.
If that's true, kudos to Scott. David is such a unique character that only Scott should direct him.

Believe Bill Guerin will be meeting with Quinn Hughes and his camp in Michigan today/this week. As we've long reported, Wild want to go 5-8 years (7-year max term after Sept. 16 in new CBA). 3-year extension still makes most sense for Quinn so he can align with Jack's deal in NJ

I don’t know why Minnesota Wild fans have become deranged on my posts. When the Wild owner basically insinuated that they were close to a deal with Quinn Hughes in early June and it is a matter of how many years of the contract, I didn’t buy it. And I was 100% right for calling the owner out on it because it was misleading. Bill Guerin confirmed it a week later that they just had “very very preliminary” talks and there was nothing you (the media and fans) would interested in with a smirk on his face.
Now fast forward to now. Still no deal has been signed and it’s July 29th. If anything, Wild fans should thank me for pointing out the obvious as the media keeps spinning the story for clicks. #MNWild #NJDevils

I want to tell stories with protagonists who are more on their heels, less invincible, and less trained. It'll create a whole new sea of content where audiences can see themselves on screen.
