@luke_pighetti @SpaceEngy yeah I came to the same conclusion I disliked all the obscure pkgs in flutter (bloc, riverpod, get etc). I just wanted react query which was battle tested in terms of dev UX. They're both just declarative UIs so I created volt package which is basically react query for flutter

@SpaceEngy btw there is a good reason for this. most of the popular app architecture building blocks in react are built by AAA engineers who have a strong bias towards developer experience. buying into the popular thing usually means you're getting something good. not true in flutter

i find it so funny that flutter is 'batteries included' and yet every app is architected in a completely different way while react / react native apps / devs seem to all work exactly the same. hooks. tailwind. react-query. drizzle. file based routing.
