A “humanitarian nightmare” like it’s some natural disaster. A fucking soulless loser.
Neera Tanden🌻@neeratanden

@theinfradev I think what the people of Gaza endured was a humanitarian nightmare. Take your genocide supporter shit to someone else.

@johnsemley3000 And wore the uniform all around Oxford after he was discharged, making up stories about his flying hijinks and combat

a truly fun Faulkner fact: he was not allowed to enlist in the military during the First World War, because he was so scrawny, so he forged some paperwork and joined the RAF in Toronto, Canada--home of friggin' Timmies!

My objective with the hypothetical Austria-Hungary novel is to get a whole new generation interested in a far superior work, the Good Soldier Svejk

@BlakkBile Pretty funny to say "1866–1928" when The Sound and The Fury was published in '29 and followed by the rest of his major novels

@yashalevine "I think caring about screen time is stupid. It's a waste of mental energy." Maybe I'm just a simple guy, but I'd prefer to not spend the the majority of my waking hours connected to a screen. Even a full-time job, being connected to a computer for ~9 hours a day, fucking sucks
