I've been informed he was coming out of anesthesia and still pretty asleep but he heard the crinkle of someone else's churu and sprung awake and went insane until they gave him some so I think he's feeling alright

Dweeb is out of surgery! 😅 They were able to get plates on both sides of his jaw! It was a very long and intricate surgery, his blood pressure got a little dicey during it so they're keeping him overnight to monitor. I get to pick him up in the morning 🥹

Most people are bad at thinking about crime and punishment.
The correct priority is to quickly prevent anyone who is likely to reoffend and unlikely to be a net benefit to society from doing more crime.
That means it could be correct to execute someone for fare evasion and incorrect to punish someone at all for a car accident, even if the latter kills an entire family.

I understand the feeling of not being chosen. However one thing I will say that stands out is this; don’t EVER call the main company and demand updates on your audition. You are not entitled to know early decisions, follow the required rules of the audition if there even was one. Most auditions for anime are in person ever since COVID ended so I’m a little lost by this tweet. They would already have your personal information on file.

I lost the role. This was something I had wanted for most of my life. I kept calling and reaching out for updates, hoping to hear something back, but today I found out they’ve moved forward without even responding to me. I truly lost the role. I’m honestly heartbroken.

He dropped her off hours before her disappearance. Maybe he asked for money & she gave him a zinger of a NO.

Now that GLP-1s are no longer scarce, I’m seeing people really struggle with explaining why they hate them so much. People used to shout that diabetics were being deprived, with righteous indignation. Now… its just kinda different ways of saying fat people don’t “deserve” them.

There is something so SO profoundly wrong about one of the fittest, most dominant athletes of all time advertising weight-loss drugs during one of the most watched events on earth. Bleak doesn’t even cover it. What a crying shame.

My favorite James Van Der Beek project was Rules of Attraction. Specifically with the DVD commentary by Carrot Top who had never seen the movie before, reacting to it in real time. I have no idea whose idea that was but it was great. RIP King.
