Rupert was straight with every one of us about what was coming. He told us plainly that the establishment would come for us and that everything would get thrown our way, the false allegations, the dodgy polling, the media noise, the personal stuff aimed at individuals. "Be ready. They are going to come for us," he said, and he was right. None of what we're seeing now should come as a shock to anyone who was actually paying attention back then. This is simply what happens when you genuinely threaten the way this country is run. If we were just another harmless little outfit that nobody took seriously, they would leave us well alone, they would ignore us completely. The fact that the noise has got louder, that certain people have suddenly taken such a keen interest in tearing us down, tells you everything you need to know about how seriously we're being taken. You don't go after something that poses no threat to you, you go after the thing that frightens you. So when I see the odd person making a great show of jumping ship at the first bit of turbulence, I'm honestly not worried about it, and neither should any of you be. There were never that many of them to begin with, and if a bit of noise from the usual suspects is all it takes to send someone running for the exit, then in all honesty they were probably never really Restore in the first place. They liked the idea of it when it felt easy and exciting, but they were never in it for the hard part, and there is always a hard part. The people who actually matter, the ones doing the real work in their own communities, knocking on doors, turning up to meetings, having the awkward conversations with neighbours and colleagues, they are not going anywhere. I've been speaking to plenty of them right across North Lanarkshire these past few weeks and the mood hasn't shifted one inch. If anything it has hardened. Every cheap shot just reminds us exactly why we started this in the first place. @RupertLowe10 told us to ride it out and keep our eyes on the prize, and that is precisely what we intend to do. Stay the course. Let them make all the noise they like. We know what we're here for, and it was never about making friends with the people who let this country go to shit this to begin with.

This is fascinating. I’ve been hearing that support for Restore in Makerfield is in double figures, though not as high as 18%. What should be of even more concern for Reform is the fact that there is momentum behind the Restore campaign. They have more activists and a greater profile. The gap between the two could close further

A great turnout today for our first @RestoreBritain_ Cumbernauld Community Cleanup. People we met on the route seemed very happy to see us! Thank you to everyone who came along today. Legends, all of you! @MyDugAlbie @DenRestoreGla @NiallTheTobin @CraigHouston_ @NL_Restore_ @GlesgaPatriot

Hello X! New account alert 🚨 Here to call out the establishment and talk real political news. Rupert Lowe puts our nation before politics, and his common-sense approach is the exact reason I officially joined Restore Britain. Follow for updates! 🇬🇧

@th1n_wh1te_duke Well, looking forward to catching up with the next Huddersfield & Colne Valley organiser 👏
