Imagine you could ask Claude anything about how your customers use your product, how much they pay, and how close they are to their limits.
Ok, wish granted.
We just shipped a Schematic MCP server for Claude Code. github.com/schematichq/sc…

Got tired of putzing around in Figma creating 1000 copy variants for ads. So I vibed up an ad generator where I can add a few designs and anyone can edit and export to PNG and MP4s. Animated ads too!

@drewwilson @clerk This is awesome @drewwilson - will I still need to pay for Stripe billing if I use this as a clerk customer? Or stripe purely for payments here?

It's Friday, and that means... a new @clerk Billing product update!! "Billing" will be the first product from the Clerk Commerce team! Coming soon!

🚨 New feature alert! Manage your customers' plan and subscription all in one place. This one was highly requested.
Manual upgrades usually require going into Stripe, your feature flag tool, maybe your admin. We've made that dead simple in @GetSchematic

Over the last year, more than 50 SaaS founders, operators, and pricing experts have joined Monetizing SaaS to share lessons on building and pricing software.
Recently, we added a new format to the podcast: pricing and billing teardowns of popular dev tools.
This week, we focused on @linear (we're a happy customer!) and discovered a great example of tying new feature rollouts to pricing plan iterations.
Here’s how Linear executed with their new Customer Requests feature:
🔹 Polished in-app flow to showcase the feature—complete with a video demo and clear CTA.
🔹 Tied the launch to plan migration, nudging us off a legacy plan to their good/better/best tiers.
🔹 Offered cost-neutral and upgrade options for migrating plans—super thoughtful.
🔹 Built a custom modal flow for seamless self-service upgrade/migration, replacing their old vanilla Stripe checkout making the purchasing experience extremely low friction for us.
The Lesson:
How features are entitled, packaged, and tied to pricing & packaging changes shapes the buying journey, and in this case is a significant lever on net dollar retention.
Linear did 3 things extremely well:
1️⃣ Excellent communication of the new feature's value.
2️⃣ Incentivized migration with smart pricing options that had both cost neutral and upgrade options.
3️⃣ Delivered a frictionless upgrade experience.
This 90-second clip shows it in action.

How do you determine your initial pricing in a seed stage SaaS startup?

hey @RiversidedotFM i'm a startup founder. i use riverside for podcasting. i think it's awesome. but i can't add a seat without talking to sales. and the pricing jump from pro to business to simply add a seat looks like a 2000% increase. that's crazy. this is a very high friction billing experience. consider making this an easy experience for me to self-serve against. and if its hard for you all to support this from a feature management & subscription management experience, checkout @GetSchematic ... it can help.
I just spent 20 minutes with your support team trying to get clarity in this. it would be really slick if the rep could simply go into my company profile and enable an additional seat as an override.

➡️ Solving the last mile of pricing & packaging
At every startup, one thing is certain: pricing and packaging will always change.
Product and engineering teams shouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel every time this happens.
Most companies hard-code pricing and packaging into their applications, making it slow and painful to evolve as market demands shift.
➡️ What We’re Building
We're building Schematic to transform pricing and packaging for B2B SaaS companies by getting product and engineering teams out of billing projects.
With Schematic, B2B SaaS companies can change pricing & packaging without code changes or billing refactors.
➡️ How It Works
With just a few lines of code, businesses can implement pricing and packaging into any application—end-to-end—from feature delivery through billing and customer experience.
Quickly roll out new features and tie them to your pricing plans.
Target specific plans to customers and adjust them without engineering support.
Experiment, scale, and manage pricing & packaging operations: trials, plans, limits, entitlements, metering usage, handling exceptions, provisioning customers, & embedding front-end purchasing components —all without code changes.
➡️ Who we’re building for
We’re building Schematic for B2B SaaS companies who want their pricing & packaging roadmaps to move in sync with their product roadmaps, without slowing down their engineering teams.
Some key use cases our customers are already benefiting from:
🔹Outsourcing homegrown & hard-coded entitlement services.
🔹Programmatically managing feature access based on subscription plans.
🔹Metering usage and actually enforcing limits.
🔹Updating and managing plans, add-ons, bundling, and customer exceptions
🔹Delivering embeddable purchasing experiences (pricing tables, customer portals, upgrade/downgrade flows, etc).
We’re still in the early innings, but the foundation is strong—we're already handling 500K entitlement flag evaluations every month.
If you’re a founder or a product leader looking to avoid building what should be out-of-the-box (feature flags, entitlements, admin dashboards, customer portals), check out Schematic and let us know what you think.

Schematic is well-worth a look if you’re building a B2B SaaS startup. Packaging and pricing are always an evolving challenge. Having the right tools to run experiments and effect changes is critical to moving fast. @fynnglover19 and team are also really nice to work with. 😀🚀

Here's what I've been working on for the last few months!
Introducing BaseStation: Turn PDFs into Interactive Guides
BaseStation is the easiest and fastest way to transform PDFs into interactive guides. Simply upload a PDF, and we'll automatically recognize and create all the inputs. Drag and drop to organize them into steps, then easily record guidance for questions that need detailed explanations. This saves you hours of tagging inputs and exchanging instructions with your clients.
The Story Behind BaseStation
While working at Compass and Side, I noticed there’s still a reliance on sending PDFs back and forth with ambiguous email instructions. This often required agents to schedule calls or in-person meetings, wasting time for both clients and agents.
Clients find this inconvenient, with schedules disrupted during lunch breaks or outside work hours. Agents are limited in the number of customers they can serve.
When I asked agents about vertical-specific portals, about half mentioned trying and then abandoning them. Here's why:
1. Clients hire agents for personalized service. Self-help portals can make clients question the agent's value.
2. Portals can't cover every question, often confusing clients rather than speeding up the process.
3. Portals enforce a single "best" process that may not align with an agent's preferred method, and they often fail to address unique regional or situational needs.
That's why we built BaseStation. Turn any PDF into a web form, creating your own process with tailored instructions for each client in just minutes.
Who is BaseStation For?
BaseStation is designed for professionals in paperwork heavy industries like finance, real estate, and insurance whose core differentiator is their expertise and level of service. We’ve already onboarded a few brokerages, empowering their agents to create highly personalized intake experiences, boosting trust and conversion rates. If this resonates, We would love to show you BaseStation. Sign up for our waitlist, and we will personally onboard you and build your first template.

What's Next
Forms are just the beginning. After data collection, agents often generate PDFs for completed forms, quote comparisons, or service agreements. Our customers highlighted this as another trust-building opportunity. We're building a new feature that lets you record directly over PDFs, turning them into interactive guides. Imagine a client confused by a line item on a quote - they hover, and your explanation pops up!

@hasquee What is your bar for the Vision Pro being comfortable enough for extended use by the mainstream? IMO that’s the blocker still. Software will get there. But it’s still uncomfortable to have on your face for more than an hour for most people.
English

maybe this has already been said before but i think in the long term the vision pro will compete with or overtake the mac book
it feels like once you have a tool that has no limits you can start to challenge the usefulness of things that have physical constraints
near term == vision pro + mac book + mouse + keyboard
mid-term == vision pro + mouse + keyboard
long-term == vision pro only
