@pinskinator Vancouver is a prime example of only have specialized cuisines and nothing else. I’ve been 7+ times and I’m only interested in East Asian, South Asian and Seafood in Vancouver. I wouldn’t call it a food city at all.

I always tell people this. Mtl has a speciality food scene. Fantastic upscale spots, French cuisine obviously, Lebanese etc. thanks to the concentration of specific communities. but Toronto is better across the board. Way more options - inherently a bigger city w more to offer
