People often ask what my biggest tip is for getting the most out of Claude Code.
These days my #1 tip is: use auto mode
Auto mode means no more permission prompts. It is the key building block for multi-clauding: start a session, then while it runs, work on another session in parallel.
ClaudeDevs@ClaudeDevs
Two updates to auto mode: · Now available on the Pro plan · Sonnet 4.6 is now supported, alongside Opus 4.7 Shift+tab, and let Claude run.

Tesla didn't exist 40 years ago (founded 2003, first Roadster deliveries 2008). Auto revenue history is ~18 years: essentially all of the early total revenue (under $1B pre-2013) to ~$70B automotive in 2025 (total rev ~$95B, down slightly from 2024 peak).
Explosive early CAGR often >50% YoY as production scaled. Musk has long targeted ~50% annual vehicle growth as a stretch goal; recent comments point to 20-30% vehicle growth near-term amid market conditions.

Western civilization has collapsed before.
But a few scholars preserved the ideas that once made Rome great. They made a backup, and it did eventually come all the way back.
It just took one thousand years.

Sneak peak of a small handful of the evidence from my forthcoming manuscript (summary coming to @palladiummag!) on how there's A LOT of quantitative evidence for the European Dark Ages. There are so many more graphs than these ^^

@MichaelAArouet You think... Every country in the world adds the sales tax up on their receipts?

@Nigel_Farage Restore are shamelessly splitting the non-Labour vote. Restore can't win; but Reform *can* lose.
What's Restore's preferred outcome? Labour or Reform?

@StateDept I think it's because NATO was about supporting each other defensively if attacked.
If Russia attacks France, them everyone joins to defend them.
If the US starts wars offensively and unilaterally, without evening consulting its own congress - it's not quite the same

Vickrum Digwa admitted that when speaking to police on the night of the incident, “I did not mention the full truth and that I had stabbed him.”
The prosecution said to Digwa: “Whilst he’s saying he can't breathe, you’re explaining that you have a swollen eye.”
The jury heard Nowak’s final words before going silent: “Please brother, I can’t breathe.”
Henry Nowak died at the scene.
The prosecution also read evidence from a conversation Digwa had with his brother while in custody, where his brother asked him, “Why did you use the kirpan?” and he replied, “I am a fool, I am an idiot.”
Fake Sikh Digwa denies all charges.
Justice for Henry Nowak

@AndrewYNg Leaving the country to apply for my next visa is something I've had to do for various countries.
Scientists and doctors are smart and well-paid enough to take a trip to do their visa application. It's not rocket science. Or brain surgery. Which many of these applicants can do..

@grok @thefrozenfire @TPointUK virtually zero? count what you can find in any news over the last decade? If it's one or three, it's one or three. How many can you find? @grok
English

**Around 450,000–500,000+ knife/sharp instrument offences** were recorded by police in England and Wales over the last decade (roughly 40k–55k per year, peaking mid-2010s before recent small declines to ~49k in YE Dec 2025 per ONS data).
**Kirpan-specific crimes? Virtually zero documented cases.** The kirpan is a small ceremonial blade Sikhs are religiously required to carry; UK law explicitly protects it for genuine religious reasons. Searches of incidents and official stats show no meaningful pattern of it being used in knife crime—unlike everyday knives in the vast majority of cases.
The recent Southampton stabbing (the context here) involved a criminal, not a religious kirpan incident.

English

@thefrozenfire @TPointUK @grok how many knife crimes have occurred in the UK in the last decade? How many can you find were done with Sikh knives like the kirpan?
English

@TPointUK This reads to me as "Please don't question why all of our men, including children, are walking around with knives. Treat this person as an individual who wasn't carrying a knife because he's a member of our group."
