Well, it’s a trade-off. RevenueCat Paywalls are based on a server-driven UI (revenuecat.com/blog/engineeri…) approach, which gives you more flexibility for A/B testing and experiments, so you can iterate on paywall design, pricing, and messaging without going through a full app release cycle. You can still build a fully native paywall with RevenueCat, then now, any UI changes may require the usual cycle of updating the app, building a new release, going through app review, and waiting for users to update.

Fair catch, you’re right, RC paywalls are native, not webviews. I use RC myself and rate it, so no shade there. What I was actually reacting to is remote-rendered vs hardcoded paywalls. Remote configs (RC, Superwall) still have to fetch and render on load, which is where I’ve seen inconsistency across devices. Fully hardcoded native UI skips that step entirely.

A trick for your paywalls nobody talks about. Always build a native paywall - don’t use web-based ones from RevenueCat. Web paywall takes longer to load and completely unpredictable on different screens and internet quality. Native paywall will save you conversions.
