Not to be a PokeBoomer but you can clearly tell there was a shift in pokemon starter design away from animals and towards anthropomorphic mascots starting around gen 6 and it really sucks man

@khazarAntlers To be fair, it is the least popular of the Gen 3 starters. It grew in popularity due to HA and then Mega. Now is held fondly due to nostalgia. But it used to be considered the lame one.

Pokémon fans, explain to me what’s so different about blaziken compared to other furry/humanoid pokemon, don’t say because blaziken was already standing on two feet bullshit because this applies the same thing with quaquaval and yet is catching strays for being a "furry".
