In response to the Flood disaster faced by Bayelsa State, the UN Resident Coordinator paid a visit to the State. With the Flood receding, focus shift towards Post Flood recovery as well as Mitigation plans going forward

For us as a government, the flood situation at hand in Bayelsa State is not a medium for Hard-Ball but rather it is a time for sympathy and empathy for our people whose houses and livelihoods are ravaged by flood…

Our newly recruited M&E officers are now better equipped to track inputs, processes, outputs and outcomes of our engagements with the @NigeriaGov Non State Actors and other Stakeholders to inform policies and strategies towards #SDGs Acceleration @WHO
