NYT's Ezra Klein on Iran war: "The centrality of Israel in the operation has raised some concerns for me about what this is going to mean for anti-Semitism."

Benjamin Netanyahu’s long career was built on conflict avoidance—then, October 7 transformed and radicalized him, @Yair_Rosenberg argues: theatlantic.com/international/…

The Iranian regime beats up women in the street for showing hair. Israel just sent 30 female air crew members, including pilots and navigators, to bomb that regime. #WomanLifeFreedom✊

Only weeks after German officials at the Munich Conference spoke of the importance of international law, the German Chancellor completely sets it aside to throw Germany's full support behind Trump and Israel's illegal war on Iran. “Legal assessments under international law will achieve relatively little in this regard… That is why now is not the moment to lecture our partners and allies; despite all doubts, we share many of their goals, without ourselves being able to actually achieve them.” The last sentence is critical. Germany is positioning itself as a cobelligerent in this war. And Iran will likely treat it as such.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres: “Military action carries the risk of igniting a chain of events that no one can control in the most volatile region of the world"

I will convene an extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council via video link on Sunday to address Iran and the rapidly unfolding events across the Middle East. I have been in contact with our partners in the Gulf countries. The Iranian regime’s indiscriminate attacks against its neighbours carry the risk of dragging the region into a broader war and we condemn this. It is essential that the war does not spread any further. The Iranian regime has choices to make.

The Islamic regime is claiming more than 50+ “martyrs” were killed at a girls school in Minab …except they forgot to mention that the school is literally part of the Asif corps of the IRGC on base, which was targeted. Not only that, it’s also being used as an IRGC admin, command and medical facility at this time. Meanwhile, Anti-regime media has said no students were killed nor was the school itself the target.
