@gmoult I prefer digital in a lot of cases, tbh—especially for Big Books (I read Schattenfroh on my phone lol)—even better margins for publishers on those!!!

For most books that aren’t perennial bestsellers, print-on-demand is the only way to keep new copies consistently available. Publishers would always rather do an offset run, but it’s only feasible if they can sell the run within a few years. It’s POD or nothing for most titles!
