@naledimashishi You can 100% do this, and you should! Completely normal and appropriate. It's a good idea to have a potential supervisor in your corner before applying, especially if you need to apply for funding etc.

I think I’ve settled on a position. It may appear tad unrealistic, but, hear me out. South Africa has given the ANC only 40% of the seats in Parliament, and that is how it must remain in practice.
