@godsfrend @Cover1 To be fair, his hockey team went through a ton of misses before they figured it out. His hiring record is much more negative than positive. But if that's the take you want to have, that's fair.

Let's not miss the forest for the trees on why so many #Bills free agents are still available. The only guy on this list who isn't 30+, about to be 30 or coming off a major knee injury is Damar Hamlin. Easy reasons for teams to not be interested.

@thadbrown7 @Cover1 i don't personally know Pegula, but both his sports teams are national title contenders, and he's a multi-billionaire. neither you nor i have those credentials... so yes, i'll defer to his sports business acumen on this, and not hop on some bandwagon thinking i know better.

@godsfrend @Cover1 Coaches certainly have input into players, but that's still Beane's call at the end of the day. The more logical conclusion is McDermott did some pretty decent coaching making a group of guys no one (now) wants into a respectable defense.

Bernard with one hell of an audible on Third down. Bills DBs pattern match the Trips set. Bills send the RBs, drop out the edge defenders. Bishop is able to pick off Baker as he is en route to his assignment.
