Comparing VA disability to welfare is wild. People that have been hurt or have ptsd or TBI do need it. It can be extremely helpful, especially if they are truly injured or suffering and need help and suffer because traumatic of their experiences from their military service. War is hell. Shit we lost 16 in our battalion during our deployment but have lost almost double that to suicide since returning in 2008. BUT I will agree it is abused a lot. I have seen so many people with 100% that have never even experienced combat and claim ptsd or fake injury which is wild. These claims take up time from people that deserve it and need the help. “Yes people experience things differently” but fuck off on 100% ptsd claim if an IED went off a single time during a convoy and caused a tire to pop or a mortar landed 100 yards away one time and no one was injured but it was scary. To the people that have served I do appreciate you and always here if you need to chat.

You can’t see this and not think to yourself “is Christianity under attack?” From school shootings in churches to people worshiping on a Sunday. Being a practicing Christian you have a target on your back it feels like lately.
