Saw a H.S. Kid on Instagram run 10 feet and throw the ball as hard as he can into a net at 90 MPH and then fall down. Figured I would look up his current H.S. Stats to see how he pitches. Currently 15 walks in 4 innings. If you cant throw the ball for strikes does it really matter?

During a game a player was frustrated about his plate performances. He came up to me and asked me Coach what am I doing mechanically. One of our best hitters heard him, walked right up to him, start Competing in the Box, it’s not your mechanics, start COMPETING.stop being mental.

Players...Want your coach's attention? His extra effort? More of his time? Show him that you're chasing greatness...are willing to sacrifice...and have your priorities right! Coaches will line up to help you if you're doing everything possible to help yourself.

A lot of players and their parents NEED to HEAR this. "you're not as good as you think you are"! Your measurables are a dime a dozen and your moxie/feel for competing needs work. You have a lot of work to do if you want to play this game for a long time. It's up to YOU!
