@NUCLRGOLF @TWlegion @SchefflerFans Injuries are the wild card. If Tiger would have stayed healthy, there’s no telling what he may have done. 20 majors? More? If Scotty stays healthy, also no telling what he may do.

🚨🗣️⛳️ #NEW: Paul McGinley speculates that Scottie Scheffler could eclipse Tiger Woods in the long term: “I have not seen a competitor anywhere close to Tiger Woods as good as this guy. That’s how high the bar is… “And I think as time goes on, he might even prove to be a better one, he might even prove to have more longevity than Tiger Woods at the top.” “Because, at this moment in time, it’s hard to see him getting derailed, because he’s so stable off the course as much as he’s stable on the course…. “And it looks like he’s got that fine balance between golf being really important and loving it and loving to compete, but also that it’s not the most important thing in his life. That is the sweet spot there.” Do you agree with Paul?

@Lee_Vertisce @ForePlayPod @spittinchiclets Who wants to spend 5 hours on a golf course waiting on every hole? It isn’t “your preferred speed,” it’s keeping up with the group in front of you. If you can’t, move over and let the group behind go ahead. Or skip a hole.

Sounds to me like the NHL player was the one running their mouth. Even when the guy walked away to end the argument they kept running their mouth and escalated it. Who the fuck goes to play golf and wants to go through every hole as quickly as possible? You are supposed to go out and enjoy the day, not be a dick to everybody who isn't playing at your preferred speed. "Hey man, can we go ahead of you?" "Yeah man, I've seen you waiting behind us for a couple holes. No problem." That's all this had to be.

Tiger Woods—arguably the greatest iron player of all time—does ZERO excess shallowing in transition. So why is everyone obsessed with forcing this move? 🤔 It’s not the secret! It’s a distraction. Stop wasting your time. Learn the real fundamentals. #TigerWoods #GolfMyth #ClassicGolfSwing #GolfTips

Scratch golfer vs LPGA… If a scratch golfer broke par during a casual round of golf with their buddies, it would be an amazing round… couple under, you played pretty good If an LPGA player shot -4 during a casual round with their friends, it would be classified as an average hit out A professional golfer of any kind (PGAT or LPGA) are shooting -8 when the cameras aren’t rolling and they are laughing with their friends during a social round Scratch golfers, you have next to no chance beating an LPGA. I say next to no chance because of course, they may have an absolute shocker & you have a career round (highly unlikely though) And I’ll say this… you think being a scratch golfer means you’re good at golf? Compared to LPGA, you ain’t nothing. I’m off plus 3 and I’d get smoked by someone on the LPGA tour 99% of the time Check your ego and leave it at the door. Every head must bow, you’d get smoked by a LPGA player, period

From grok The average carry distance of a woman's golf drive varies by skill level. For amateur women golfers, the average carry distance is around 140-180 yards. For professional women golfers, such as those on the LPGA Tour, the average carry distance is typically between 220-250 yards. Factors like swing speed, technique, and equipment can significantly influence these numbers.

@LouStagner People don’t realize how different a scratch golfer is from a tour player. And how scary good LPGA tour players are. Give the club guy 2 a side and she’ll still beat him.

Golf expenses May 19-June 17 (22 rounds): Greens fees $550 Golf balls $62 Cart fees $75 New Hybrid $299 Golf gloves $3150 Tees $16 I find it OBSCENE that a month of golf costs over $4000 to play. The golf industry ought to be ashamed.

@MorrisBubba @NUCLRGOLF … not to mention Koepka, Rahm, JT, DJ, Schauffele, and DeChambeau. But okay, there just weren’t other great players in Tiger’s era. Got it lol

@goingforbroke16 @NUCLRGOLF That narrative is nonsense, he won 15 majors in like 20 years so there were only 65 other majors they could have won. There just weren’t other great players in tigers era.

@MorrisBubba @NUCLRGOLF Tiger had Phil, Sergio, Ernie, Vijay, Rory, Padraig, Furyk, Westwood, Duval, Montgomerie, Appleby, Leonard, Scott, Toms, Love III, Rose… literally twice as many. In fact, he’s the only reason some of these players weren’t much more successful.

To the people saying the competition was better for Tiger, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Billy Casper, Raymond Floyd, Seve Ballesteros, and Johnny Miller. Now do Tigers, I’ll give you Phil Michelson, who is great but really didn’t start winning until after Tiger and who?

Disrespecting the game at such a historic place. You hate to see it, but also the kind of thing you've come to expect from the European Ryder Cup team.

@practicalgolf On a good day at the range, people often forget about “bad” shots (those that land outside of 10-15 yards from the target) and mostly focus on the good ones, which are often the result of being in a rhythm. You don’t get 30 “warm up” shots on the golf course.

I get a lot of questions. This one is by far and away the most common. Why is there such a disparity between your range game and on-course game? Would love to hear what everyone thinks here 🤔

On July 4, 2012 in San Diego, California, thousands of people gathered for the ‘Big Bay Boom,’ attending what they thought would be a 17 minute show. Instead, 7,000 fireworks accidentally went off all at same time. The fireworks were triggered from a computer however a glitch in the software changed everything. The 17 minute show lasted just 30 seconds but was remembered as one of the greatest firework shows of all time. Happy 4th 🇺🇸
