@SFproductions_1 I think it's because the people who liked it have mostly grown up and moved on. It's been nearly a decade and a half since release. On the flip side, most of the negativity comes from people who never did move on. So the audience never changed, just who is still speaking the most

@SamsProStation I legit blame the 1 2 punch of SADX grossly misrepresenting the original product and then the franchise shitting the bed (on the home console side) until Colors. That had people seeing the mid-00's games for what they were bunched up with a bad version of SA1 in the same period.

Here’s my thoughts. If Sonic’s jump to 3D early on was truly as bad as some on YouTube made it sound. Then why did he survive and even THRIVE in the early 2000’s? Why was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle so incredibly popular on GameCube to Nintendo fans who played Sonic for the first time? Yet countless other game characters died off in that very era. Maybe it’s because those Adventure games had plenty of good things about them? Every game has its problems. But it doesn’t define the title as a whole or the OVERALL experience!
