Excluding majors Rory Mcilroy has played 5 times on the European tour this year, winless and sits top of the rankings. Compare this to Ryan Fox who has played 20 times on the European tour this year and won twice (4, 2nd finishes). Surely this shouldn’t be the case? @DPWorldTour

@4golfonline If the money for liv wasn’t coming from Saudi would the issue be this bad ? Isn’t more golf tours only good for the game ? Look at the mini tours in the uk. Lots of competition which helps grow the sport ? Doesn’t it ?

What I don’t get is why Henrik Stenson can’t possible survive the next 14 months without the LIV money. You’d think captaining a Ryder Cup might be something worth “only” making a couple million $ until your duty is done.

One interesting note from that LIV presser: Bryson DeChambeau tried multiple times to get on the Player Advisory Council on the PGA Tour. He was not successful.

Man, that Perez, Brooks and Reed presser was wild. Defending their choice, sure, but borderline combative. Like, "screw you, I have the money, I don't care what you think." Which, fine. But hard to imagine that resonating well with fans. Then again, not sure fans matter in this.

@TweeterAlliss the hatred towards liv. So Europeans play in America because the prize money is 4-5 times better. liv is 2/3 times better than pga tour it’s become an issue about money. We all have an issue about human rights in Saudi but Americans vote 4 guns and kill young children that’s ok
