@krispursiainen this is the same situation as Thibs with the Knicks last year. is he a good coach? in Thibs’ case yes. was he the best coach for this roster? no. is it better to make a change sooner rather than later or wait for them to stay past their welcome

@krispursiainen I agree I don’t think they could beat OKC, or at best we’d need some help. but the Knicks have dominated the Nuggets in the Brunson era (7-1). and they have the perfect roster to neutralize Wemby. KAT, Mitch, OG might be the best rotation to put on him. scared of Castle tho

Miscellaneous Knicks notes that likely won’t end up anywhere: - Knicks’ biggest struggle may have truly been rebounding - Rewarding bigs pays off. Touches/dunks - Would still pick NY to win East - I think they can beat the Spurs & Nuggets, but not Thunder. if we’re doing that

Waking up and watching a full hour of highlights used to be one of the best parts of the morning. Now every clip is on your phone 30 seconds after it happens and nobody sits down to watch a highlight show anymore. We gained access and lost the experience.

In Mike Brown’s defense, he technically is correct. The Knicks were +32 in 167 minutes after March 1 with Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns both off the floor. They were -63 in the 305 minutes before that. Lot of noise in those numbers on each side.
