I can't believe how many adults don't have hobbies or interests outside of work.
Learn a language, go axe-throwing, try salsa dancing, train in any kind of MMA, collect stamps, get into photography, play pickleball, etc.
There's something for everyone out there.

The most coveted teaching positions in my district are at our Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP). The courses are preloaded, self-paced, and self-graded. The teacher serves as a facilitator more than a traditional teacher.
The facility has metal detectors, a uniform dress code, and strictly prohibits personal electronic devices.
What surprises most people is that the students who return from DAEP want to go back. When I ask them why, they say: “Mr. C plays board games with us when we’re finished,” or “Mrs. K listens to the music I create.”
We built a system where the only place some kids get attention…is after they’re removed from the classroom.
