The current landscape of club sports is in my opinion absolutely terrible. Invest more in competitive city leagues?

Joe Montana on playing multiple sports in High School Had I followed my first love, few people would no my name. In high school, basketball was my favorite sport. I tell high school athletes to play the sports they love - all of them. It's NOT a good idea to force kids to make a choice too early in life. I played the sports I loved and let things work themselves out after that. I was offered D1 scholarships in both sports and was divided between basketball and football until the very end. I decided that at 6'2 my chances of playing in the NBA were slim. I chose football, Notre Dame. It turned out to be the right choice.
