Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

@ScannerRadioDFW Happened to be at Founders Plaza when it landed. Had the ram air turbine deployed, landed safely and seemed to taxi off on its own power after a check by the DFWFD trucks.

@PeteKwiatkowski @TaylorDRhodes2A Same boat. SBR eForm1 on 2/12 (individual not trust) and nothing back yet. Hoping to get mine by the end of the month based on the r/NFA megathread.
English

@TaylorDRhodes2A Still waiting on form1 efile through trust for SBR. Filed on 2/5 and still waiting. Got three cans approved in 10 days on form 4 individual and didn’t expect the form1 to take longer than the cans. Assuming due to the 1 being filed under trust is delaying it

@geerlingguy We have a mega rack in 4132, but lots of mini rack fans here!

@MCCCANM I can understand why an electric starter would need “rest” between attempts, but why is it needed here? Are the pneumatic starters wear items? On trucks and locomotives I don’t believe they have any limitations like that (besides the air tanks running out) so curious why here!

Breaking my X (Formerly Twitter) silence to say:
FU .@Disney
(Lighter but still) FU .@YouTubeTV
And all you other greedy TV networks that keep me from watching shit on a service I pay for.
Disney, you own EVERYTHING. Either sell it and let us watch or get off your hihorse.

@thenewarea51 @SR_Planespotter @JANN_IIS @EchoCharlieCR @TheIntelFrog @Borrowed7Time While I’ve never seen a 74 at GVT (we practice IFR work there a lot) there’s always a new bunch of planes on the L3 ramp so wouldn’t be surprised if this was a parts delivery for something there. I’ve seen AF2 and the TXGov 757s there, may be engines? Iirc those need a 74 to ship
English

@SR_Planespotter @JANN_IIS @EchoCharlieCR @TheIntelFrog @Borrowed7Time Just a delivery flight of parts and goods?
English

Interesting find, not 100% sure what to make of this yet. A 4th VC-25(B?) airframe?
Atlas Air 747-8F ( only 3 years old, delivered in 2022 ) N860GT #ABCF7F flew into L3 Harris Greenville yesterday.

@AmericanAir @DFWAirport Those 777s look a little longer than the 300ER…unconfirmed 777X order? 👀👀👀

With @DFWAirport, we are excited to reveal plans for a state-of-the-art Terminal F that’s designed to be bigger and deliver a modern customer experience.

Ride along in the absolute monster that was the 1992 Jaguar XJR-14 GTP car @WeatherTechRcwy
The Jag used a Cosworth built Ford 3.5L Naturally Aspirated F1 V8 engine, making over 670 HP and reving to 11,500 RPM. Thanks to a carbon/aluminum monocoque chassis, weight was as low as 1650 lbs and it produced over 5000lbs of downforce. The rear wheels were 14.75in wide 🤯.
(And yes, that's an H-pattern gearbox that Arie Luyendyk has to operate while wrangling this beast)

@theDrDalto @VincentJBruins Is this the last one not in a museum? Not sure how many are left, much less drivable.
English

@VincentJBruins Glad he seemingly escaped without injury. Disappointed to see an iconic car destroyed.

Literally the ONLY advantage to WN. Their scheduling model constantly shoots them in the foot (compared to hub-and-spoke), computer meltdowns galore, no first class, and now no checked bag.
Pretty sure you can now book AA for cheaper than WN, especially with the cobranded card.

F-23 should’ve won and the YF-22 should have been the museum piece.
I’m so sorry, Black Widow 😭
Aviation Archive - Tim Farmer@aviationarchive
Full video of the first flight of the YF-23 "Black Widow II". Perfect in everyway. Would be cool to see something like this revealed this year. 🤘😎

Simple: move to America and build the Storm again. We love our big V8s and V12s and our vehicle emissions laws just got a little less strict 😉
