Except we’ve seen the video and it’s horrific. Kicking a man in the head repeatedly with heavy boots, when he’s face down on the ground, and disarmed, looks less like courage and more like out of control violence.

At a dinner in the White House, Charles III told Donald Trump: “I’ve noticed your changes to the East Wing. I must say, we Brits also, in our own modest way, tried to renovate the White House back in 1814.”
I didn’t know that myself, but looked it up — in 1814, the British burned the White House.
The king also gave Trump a bell from a decommissioned British submarine named “Trump”: “Ring it if you ever need us.”
And this one:
“You recently remarked, Mr. President, that if it weren’t for the United States, European countries would be speaking German. Allow me to say that if it weren’t for us, you would be speaking French.”
But the king didn’t just joke — he also reminded Trump about support for Ukraine and the role of NATO.
Overall, Charles devoted his entire speech to subtly trolling Trump — in a very British way, so refined that it went right over the heads of MAGA supporters. They even applauded him for it!

He is asked why Ukraine has done better than he expected last year, and he blames that on the armaments that Biden sent to Ukraine, and says that was an outcome Trump would never have allowed. In short, he is saying that Trump wanted to create a situation in which Ukraine would be defeated. Yes, he mentions peace talks, but he makes it clear that Trump means a peace favourable to Russia, forced on Ukraine through military defeat.

This woman just bought a new fridge a week ago and on this day it was finally delivered. The driver showed up alone, he could barely get the fridge in.
As soon as he got it in the house she thought he was going it get tools, but instead he hurried up and left. She went into the kitchen and saw the fridge sideways, still wrapped, and has some significant gouges in the right door.
She called the store and they offered to get her a new one but it would be over a week or they would give her $500 and she can fix it herself.
Do you think he left because he didn’t want to deal with admitting what he did, would you take the money or should they offered her a new one and the money considering what he did?

This man went to pic up his new fridge from the store. It was almost $2000, brand new and still on the pallet strapped in. He did notice there was a tear in the plastic wrap. He inspected it further and saw it was a nice size dent. While he still wants the fridge and understands accidents happen, this was still unacceptable to him. Should he have waited for them to order in another one or was the $50 credit the store offered good enough for what they did?
