And to be clear, I am not saying Bailey wont be a better player. I don't have a clear view. As a fan, I can see reasons for a few guys but your process should be about the best players and at 2, I think the guys you tjink will be superstars. Again, just my opinion. Thoughts?

I still think smoke screen season in full effect BUT if the #Jets draft Bailey on the premise that, he is a higher floor player and out of fear because AG can't risk a project in Reese due to job security, that would be a flawed process. You draft the best player. Period. IMO

My stance on Reese/Bailey hasn’t really changed. I still think in a normal year there’s a *better* prospect with fewer drawbacks to take at No. 2.
But I’d rather swing on Reese’s upside than a 23-year-old DPR at that spot. Think Reese’s floor is higher than many suggest too.

There are not a lot of outcomes where I’d be disappointed with what the Jets do at 2 and 16 this year. This would absolutely be one of them. Not a fan of either pick here.

Bailey is someone I’d feel much more comfortable taking in the back end of top 10 in a normal year.
Lack of blue chip talent at premium positions is pushing him up IMO.
Reese is a projection, but one i feel comfortable making. I’m willing to bet on traits and production here.

This #Mets team isn’t even likable. The heart and soul players of this team are gone. The bottom of the order are one dimensional hitters that will ground into multiple double plays.
We may make a run at playoffs but this team is nothing special.
This off season wrecked us.
