My first console was my grandmas Atari in 1992. My first PC game was Zork on an IBM that also was my grandmas. When Pokémon came out she was right there with my first copy of Pokémon Red. Gaming is a hobby for all ages and an amazing way to bond with people you care about. 🌼

@FoxieKT The only time I think I would accept long term self-neglect is if they are actively and currently in therapy on a weekly or more basis. Bringing up past traumas can renew the issues until the coping mechanism is strengthened. But this does not mean they can treat me like shit.

Am I the asshole here? I used to have so much patience and showed a lot of grace toward people who struggle with their trauma and mental health. I still do to some degree, but as soon as I see them using it as an excuse all the time or acknowledging their issues but refusing to make a change or look inward to get better, I get completely turned off by them and lose all sympathy. Especially when they are a whole ass adult. It's ok to have bad days, but a lot of people choose to use their struggles as a crutch far too often. We all have our issues and have gone through our trials and tribulations in life, but so many people make it a personality trait and use it as a cushion to get away with being shady. But because it's due to trauma and mental health, a lot of people validate their shadiness because it's the "virtuous" thing to do. Then that causes a ripple effect and enables other people to do the same. Then everyone is playing the trauma Olympics and it's so insufferable to me. But maybe I'm just a bitter asshole? Idk. Just something I have been pondering on lately.

@WATCHHOLLIE Do you have many scenes, browser sources, steam deck live browser sources, etc? Making sure you have toggled it to making them inactive when not active scene. This can clog pcs so quickly. Every looping image, webpage, chat app, browser sources, etc. adds up so fast.

My stream has crashed for a year and a half every day. I am about to give up and quit streaming. I dont know what to do. I have gotten a brand new PC as well. Nothing seems to work. Specs below. Please help 😭
