Can I give some praise to a player I absolute despise? Dare I say…well done tonight by Gianluca Mancini. I’ve said this once and I’ll say it a hundred more times…I don’t care what club someone is from when they put on the Azzurri shirt, I simply demand they give all effort & play for the team. Mancini performed today. Bravo.

@shawn_mcintosh What was so great? In the first half if N Ireland had any quality this is a goal- and it’s been typical of his play the past 4 weeks not marking his man on transition.

@soulreader @Sportsnet650 He had 2 seasons over a point per game. Rick Tocchet coached him for 1.5 of those seasons.

@Sportsnet650 Petey had an offensive coach for 2 seasons and was around 100 points then the team switched to defensive coach’s and now he has the highest blocked shots in the NHL and plays against the best of the other teams offensive players. I don’t think we need to worry about him.

Flames have 6 1st-round picks and 8 2nd-round picks in the next 3 drafts. This doesn't even include the 4 1st-round picks they've made in the last 2 years. #Canucks deserve credit for finally starting to build a surplus of picks, but it goes to show there are levels to this

@johnakbari1 @Deku_Tree90 @JohnnyGiunta_ actually striker we are fine. Pio, Retegui, Kean all have been producing over the past year. Ironically its our defence that is shaky. If we can settle the back line then we can do damage in a tournament. Desperately need a healthy Calafiori for the WC playoffs.
