Trump's lawyer begins in a very bizarre place, that Ct can't decide this because 14th amendment allows an insurrectionist to hold office w/a two-thirds vote of Cong. Chief Justice all over him for this. And argument boomerangs--Trump's lawyer is highlighting how the 14a has a democratic solution--if Trump upset he can't run, he can go to Congress and try to get that 2/3 vote.

The Constitution is buggy. Needs formal verification and a rewrite.

In early 2023, I vowed to do everything possible to challenge the electoral hegemony of Republicans and Democrats. I studied ballot access rules across the country, set up the infrastructure for three presidential campaigns (Williamson, West, and Stein), talked to Bobby Kennedy and Dennis Kucinich about challenging the duopoly, and spoke out in the mainstream media, from the NYT to Politico to the Washington Post. I have a good sense of the 2024 landscape, know the candidates, and would like to propose the following course of action: 🔳 Jill Stein, Cornel West, Claudia De la Cruz, and Marianne Williamson meet and figure out how to bring their supporters together behind a unified ticket. 🔳 The Green Party moves its presidential primary to early March, so there's time to build a grassroots movement behind a unity ticket. 🔳 Independent leftist media fully supports the unity ticket. (That includes podcasters/YouTubers who waste time on purity tests. No more egos when genocide is happening.) 🔳 Local activists and organizers pool resources and build a groundswell in support of the unity ticket. 🔳 Influential personalities and political figures get behind the unity ticket and amplify it on social media. @Globalpacifism @peterdaou The first step is going to have to be to get rank choice voting passed nationally. A huge change because getting that through Congress whose interests are dead set against it would be next to impossible. Kudos to those in some States that have passed this.

Let’s be clear: There is no congressional authorization for offensive military operations in Syria, Iraq, or elsewhere in the Middle East. Our troops should not be stationed in war zones. The president has executive authority to repel sudden attacks as they’re happening, but any planned, nondefensive military engagement without a vote and approval from Congress is unconstitutional, reckless, and impeachable. Americans have had enough of rogue presidents who ignore the separation of powers, reject the Rule of Law, and endanger our country.
