I hated the idea of CB at 9, not to mention 6 (wanted edge). Watching the draft play out, I couldn't be happier. The level of CB we got relative to the rest of the class was off the charts. We got a top tier DT to go along and then Edge which was much closer to top tier. Not to mention a host of other potential starters/rotational players.

The question was asked in better faith than the answer that was given. I also reread the J6 report which you posted as your "readily available answer". It does not actually identify any point at which the government was at imminent risk of being overthrown, or detail any endgame that explains an occurrence where that would have happened. I was genuinely curious from someone that holds onto that fear of a calculated attempt to overthrow it.

@Chiefs247365 @MrJoeMcBob Tell me more about this "literal attempt to overthrow the government". What do you think the endgame was where government would have be "overthrown"? What stopped them from "overthrowing" it if that's what they were trying to do? (Since clearly it wasn't).

@MrJoeMcBob Understood, my point really is that in the current context, where we literally had an attempt to overthrow the government and have a maniac imbecile in the WH it is grossly irresponsible to sit on the sidelines & pontificate about similarities between the 2 parties.

@Daily_Chiefs_ I feel like every year we say "this class is weak, but next is crazy strong"... until we get the chance to nitpick through the hype. Trade back if our guy isn't there, but if there is a premo pick there (Bain, Downs, Tate), we need to jump on it now and not waste years.

@Farzin21 I've been ok with the the duct tape and chewing gum strategy at WR view for years. It worked until Kelce started to decline. We need an elite playmaker. We don't even need to replace Kelce at TE (it would be nice though), but we need an elite threat at WR if we don't.
