@graver0ber @The8bitidiot Sorta, you missing a couple key details specific to the housing market though. The reason for the price increase for this period of time for single family homes is not due to an increase in what people are willing to pay by residents in this case.

@graver0ber @The8bitidiot I'm in a major metro. Not even 3yrs ago a (rather poor quality) house that was going for roughly 200k, now went for over 500k.
It's like that all over kid.

It was very excessive yea. This was an application of deadly force to a fleeing offender whi posed no immediate threat. Its very cut and dry and easy to understand why the officer was found guilty if you have any basic understanding of the law.
Did the officers know he was a first time offender though?

Qualified immunity and Title IX protections for police? Necessary.
Was this excessive? Yes, this was excessive. A non-violent first time offender was killed.
