Jaden Ivey used to harass NBA reporters telling them they'll go to hell for having premarital sex. He would also turn the locker room into his personal church to preach the bible to fellow team members asking them to give their lives to Christ making the entire space uncomfortable.

His actions took place at work. We are only seeing what he teams been dealing with for sometime. HR nightmare.

It is not the same as normal religious belief or deep faith. involves fixed, false beliefs that are not shared by the person’s religious community and can't be changed even with clear proof.

@cadexmvp We all have jobs that support things we DON'T like, we have a choice not to participate. What most jobs do have is a code of conduct. They are not asking him to march in parade, wear LGBTQ colors. You do not know others beliefs or lifestyle. This is a HR nightmare.

People trying to make Ivey being waived about freedom of speech is so weird

After reading the comments and post about J.Ivey. We are quick to draw to conclusions without knowing all the parts to this story. I'm sure he is not the only Christian on a professional team. The judging of others is not what I agree with.

@Jacobtheclipper In any story there are three sides. He is correct to stand in his beliefs. The Bulls have a code on behavior on the court and off the court. What we don't know is third side of this story. Let's get the full story from both sides. I hear his side now I need to hear the Bulls.

“Jaden Ivey should not have called people sinners and been so hateful.” -The push back on here Some of the IG comments I don’t think he did it in the best manner, but I know he has good intentions. If you are a follower of Jesus, you are called to preach the gospel (the good news of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and bringing us restoration to God) The gospel says ALL men are sinners and NEED a Savior- that Savior is Jesus. This includes Jaden, this includes myself! Now, if you see a man in a burning building, unaware the building is on fire, and you walk past without alerting him, are you a good person? Of course not, I would argue you are an evil person. Ivey and EVERY Christian, if you believe what Jesus taught, should tell everyone the gospel message. If we don’t, then we are hateful. The gospel is GOOD news that saves someone from an eternity away from God (Hell), which is torture because all good things come from God and we are designed to be near Him in Heaven. Don’t let people spin this and call a man trying to help people and save people as evil. Listen to his own words, his message was always rooted in love 🙏🏻
