The reason Ed Miliband won’t lift the ban on new drilling licenses is because he needs to save face.

Update. Have just tried to go to M&S on Clapham high street.
It is flanked by police who inform me all shops on the high street are closed as they are being looted by teenagers.
Lawful citizens can’t shop, private businesses closed. Youths still causing havoc.

Last year I attended a community police event in Clapham. They laughed at the suggestion of arresting youths for ‘minor’ shoplifting.. They wouldn’t bother arresting someone smoking cannabis. Why would they care about such ‘small’ crimes? This is the inevitable outcome 👇

I don’t understand this Scott Mills scandal. He was investigated by police 10yrs ago over alleged offences 25+ years ago, but no action was taken and case was closed. Now he gets instantly fired over same thing? The BBC needs to explain why, surely?

The biggest barrier for the Tories is still trust.
“We’ll leave the ECHR” - Failed to do so when it mattered.
“Get Britain Drilling” - They implemented a 75% tax on it.
“Scrap the 2050 Net Zero target” - They implemented it.
This is why the Tories are stuck on 17% polling.

It was a late night political talk show which didn’t take itself too seriously. And aspired to a sense of humour (needed after Question Time). I didn’t aspire to run the country. Or sit in parliament. So your analogy is pathetic. But thanks for reminding us all what a fun show it was.
