Earlier today Max (aka The Fella) went to sleep for the last time. He was two months shy of 21. I haven’t been able to see him since January. Rest easy Little Fella. 🐈😢💔

I know you haven't managed to write in days, but I have high hopes for that 22 minute window you've set aside for yourself

I am currently away from the office and have intermittent access to email. If your email is not urgent I will in all likelihood still reply within 10 minutes due to ineffective self-regulation and an inability to maintain work-life balance.

174 years ago there was a huge storm in northern Scotland, and it uncovered something strange. From beneath the soil emerged a perfectly preserved village older than the Pyramids, and it even had furniture. This is the 5,000 year old story of Skara Brae...

The Impact Factors for academic journals were released this week for 2023, and CSE scored 4.0 (the highest in our history!). We see this as an indicator of the quality of the manuscripts we publish and our rigorous review process.

Time to launch my manifesto: 1. Creation of a new meal between breakfast and brunch 2. If it's not sunny on a bank holiday everyone gets a rollover until it is 3. Legally declare that nostalgia isn't as good as it used to be 4. Rename the Isle of Dogs (it's actually a peninsula) 5. Rejoin the EU but let everyone who voted to leave pretend that we still have 6. Creation of a new meal between brunch and lunch

This is Kikko, Sasha, Momo, and Hina. They are holding a secret meeting to discuss their plans for world domination. Partly because Momo forgot to bring Scrabble again. 13/10 for all

This is Bear. He pulled the fire alarm while at the groomer's. There wasn't a fire or anything, he was just ready to leave. After firefighters arrived, they explained to the dogs the importance of not triggering false alarms. Bear promises not to do it again. 12/10
