"They all went up to stand outside an empty stadium. The world's gone mad." Arsenal fans' celebrations of their Premier League victory on Holloway Road were "weird", says @adamboultonTABB.

You win the league at a canter & get a huge banner made to poke fun at the opposing manager, go and spend £500m on transfers, only to end up battling with Bournemouth on the final day for 5th place while the manager you took the piss out of wins the league. Karma’s a fucker 🖕🏼

@prodnose You mean, like the shrug after another soulless City title?

I applaud Arsenal tonight on behalf of several of my beloved brothers in law who will be ecstatic. But seriously. Has there ever been a title race greeted with a collective national shrug like this one? Prem League getting like the Police Academy franchise.

@markgoldbridge @Rory_Talks_Ball Did Trossard actually make a foul as it looked to me he got spun around from holding himself?! They could have gone forensic on that alone They didn’t actually show the hold on Raya’s shirt. Not sure you could expect ref to see any of that himself and make the “right decision”

@Rory_Talks_Ball This is a VAR issue Rory. Take your Arsenal hat off, watch what he was shown. He got hardly any of the Trossard incident, and was shown the Raya foul first. He made the right choice based on what he was shown.

Just listened to the VAR audio from Arsenal vs West Ham. Feel sorry for the ref tbh. They review it, highlight two issues, then get him over, don't show him the full incidents and don't show it in order. Based on what he saw he makes the right call

@BigBearKentlaar Yeah, thought the same. Just needed to show the close up shot from behind Raya.

Just watched the Mic’d Up of the VAR from the West Ham Arsenal game. Addressed Trossard on Pablo is a moot point, confirmed Rice on Mavropanos is likely a foul but the Raya foul happens first. What concerns me is they’ve not even looked at the shirt pull, so if they’d have given the goal then a clear factor wouldn’t have been touched on. That’s actually the scary part. They got the right decision but missed key evidence 😅

What all the pundits are missing on Sky Sports is, of course it's a foul. But for the last 18 months they haven't been given and there are countless examples of it. So why change course today?

I want Arsenal to win the league but that's a disgrace. 18 months they've been barging keepers and they win the league because of this

Maybe we got lucky with that call today. But if you’re on here moaning about VAR (because you don’t like Arsenal), it should be pointed out that we lost potential back-to-back titles because of the ball ‘not’ being out at Newcastle and the ‘correct lines’ not being drawn for the Brentford equaliser. #AFC

@Alan_Alger_ A fair few of those could easily have been fouls against the defenders too

@AFCAMDEN His first senior start in his best position. There’s no way the club let him go. Difficult 2nd season, but let’s face it, he was well ahead of schedule for club & country after excelling in a new position for him

Last night I got invited on by BBC Radio in London to talk about a huge weekend for Arsenal. I did my best to answer questions such as: why do others seem to want Arsenal to fail, why do the fans get stick, is the football boring, what happens at the Etihad. #AFC Listen here:

Only one Premier League midfielder (Szoboszlai) has played more minutes in all comps than Martin Zubimendi. The Spaniard is exhausted and his performance levels have plummeted. Arteta's refusal to use Christian Norgaard points to a failure of recruitment. telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…
