I was okay letting Saquon go. I'm livid the Giants didn't trade him because they could have avoided him going to the Eagles, but a running back isn't a foundational piece when you're trying to build. You FINISH a rebuild with a running back when the team is already good. Dex is different. I do not want to lose an elite trench piece. Yes, 2025 was bad. But his overall body of work is elite.

@greccj15 Exactly! People are so brainwashed with acquiring draft picks. Not realizing you have to actually hit on those picks. If they got a 1st this year, you would have to draft Kayden McDonald and maybe Lee Hunter to even attempt to make up for Dex.

There isn’t a Dexter Lawrence in this draft and unless you hit on 2 DTs with whatever picks you get in a trade and bring in DJ Reeder you’ll be much worse up front. And that’s also sacrificing a large part of your draft to one unit
