@Big_Pete_R @H_Bouwmeester Als u het verschil niet ziet tussen Afghanistan en Oekraïne, dan mist u inderdaad iets. Niet iets, dan mist u eigenlijk alles. Er valt genoeg over te lezen, maar zelfs een eenvoudige AI-prompt kan u al wijzer maken.

In deze tijd lijken mensen de agressor en slachtoffer nogal met elkaar te verwarren. Oekraïne is aangevallen. Oekraïne wordt gebombardeerd. Er gaat geld naar Oekraïne om Russische raketten boven ziekenhuizen te neutraliseren. Rusland kan de oorlog beëindigen door daarmee te stoppen.

Trump is going to war with the Catholic Church with about the same strategy foresight that he displayed when he started bombing Iran.

I just had a great conversation with @POTUS. I totally support his ultimatum to the Iranian regime to open up the Strait of Hormuz and to do a peace deal. A massive military operation awaits Iran if they choose poorly. This regime has been severely crippled through Operation Epic Fury. Their reign of terror against the region and the world needs to come to an end, hopefully through a peace deal. After speaking with President Trump this morning, I am completely convinced that he will use overwhelming military force against the regime if they continue to impede the Strait of Hormuz and refuse a diplomatic solution to achieve our military objectives. If it’s not clear to Iran and others by now that President Trump means what he says then I don’t know when it will ever be. Choose wisely.

A BBC Verify investigation revealed last week that a new generation US Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) was likely used in a deadly strike that hit a residential area and sports hall in the Iranian town of Lamerd on the first day of the conflict, killing 21 people, including four children. @CENTCOM then said in a statement that the US wasn't responsible for the strike, and that the missile seen in CCTV footage we verified was not a PrSM, but an Iranian Hoveyzeh cruise missile. So, this time we asked six weapons experts about the statement by Centcom. They all told us that visual evidence does not support Centcom's claim that an Iranian Hoveyzeh missile was used in the attack, citing the missile's visual features, the way it exploded, its trajectory and the number of strikes in the area as the basis for their analysis. Weapons experts maintain that evidence from dozens of photos and videos of the strike and its aftermath is consistent with their initial analysis that the US was likely responsible for the deadly strike on Lamerd.
