My elderly parents live across the street from @uvic. They borrowed $40k from the bank to convert our old basement bedrooms to Airbnb units. There is no short-term accommodation anywhere within walking or biking distance. They supply the market with much needed housing. They pay a single mom to do the cleanings in between stays who depends on the income. They furnished the units from a local furniture company. And then there is the tax revenue that Trudeau posses away. And he wants to "crack down on those rentals". Listen to this language. It's like my parents are criminals. You are an absolute joke of a Prime Minister. I'm embarrassed that I voted for you in 2015 and cannot wait to see you lose in next year's election.
