@RalphyHeraldSun David Dench - Captain at 21; Wayne Carey - Captain at 21; Harry Sheezel at 21 is most definitely in the same category as these players to be considered for captaincy 🤍💙

From Saturday’s paper. Sheezel is the heir apparent to Simpkin as Roos skipper. But Larkey is ready if NM decides he is too young. He would be younger than Carey in 93. Pagan, footy’s youngest captain Jack Trengove have their say

#OTD, 45 years ago, Dr. Alberto Peña created the Posterior Sagittal Approach to repair Anorectal Malformations. We thank him for his creativity, sincere interest in improving the life of patients, as well as his continuous dedication to teaching other surgeons.

Anorectal Malformations are frequently referred to as an Imperforate Anus. In reality, a true imperforate anus (blind ending rectum) is a rare anomaly that only happens in 5% of cases. youtu.be/iLwIVYDwGCY

Are you an adult colorectal surgeon treating a patient with Anorectal Malformation and rectal prolapse? This article is for you. ✅ Patients with ARM do not have an anal canal. Perineal approaches, which are the best option in this population, need some modification. 🧵

Rectal prolapse in Anorectal Malformation: - more common in patients with poor prognosis for bowel control - surgery should only be offered when interfering with the quality of life (excessive mucous production, bleeding, or discomfort) #SoMe4PedSurg #pedscolorectal
