Less than two and a half years after ChatGPT released and AI went mainstream, we are starting to see what moving to AI-powered work looks like. Ten common points:

April 2025 seems like a watershed moment for AI adoption at tech companies, with the CEOs at Shopify, Duolingo, and Box all announcing publicly that they were going “AI-first”.

@karpathy - Thinking / Planning / Exploring: GPT o3, Gemini 2.5 Flash, and Grok Thinking mode. I’m a fan of Anthropic, but I’ve mostly stopped using Claude. It was part of my council for a while, but I found I preferred their answers the least and wasn’t a fan of their formatting.

For the past few months, I’ve been trying to learn about and use AI as much as possible in my personal and work life. On the learning side, that has meant a topic-focused shift in my information diet (newsletters, podcasts, YouTube, and Twitter).
